Marketing Director Amanda Rogers shares, “Our 1-hour Tile Glazing workshops are a great way for adults to settle in and unwind from a busy week by learning to hand glaze a tile like a Pewabic artisan. No experience is required, and each tile turns out really beautiful! We find that many workshop participants come back multiple times to create one of each of the available designs.” Pewabic also offers docent-led pottery tours and Walking Tours to explore its historic and contemporary tile installations across Downtown Detroit, making it a cultural as well as a creative destination.
